As Congress begins debate on the next Farm bill, Rural America still faces a number of challenges. To bring the results of important research on rural prosperity to the policy community, The Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA) sponsored a Congressional seminar entitled, Rural and Community Prosperity, on Friday, July 20, 2001 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2168 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
