Making Sure Kids Count in the Big Count: Census 2020

October 30, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Young children are among the most likely to be overlooked in the once-a-decade Census count. In 2010, one in ten children aged 0-4 were left out of the enumeration. Why did this happen? What are the implications? And with the next Census count barely two years away, how can we prevent it from happening again? Join the Population Association of America for a fascinating look at this problem with experts in the field.

Ms. Corrine Yu, esq., Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights

Dr. William O’Hare, author of The Undercount of Young Children in the U.S. Decennial Census
